Akmazo is hiring! We are seeking EMDR trained LCSWs, LPCs or LMFTs to work with adults experiencing chronic and/or complex trauma.

AKMAZO is a trauma therapy practice looking to expand its capacity to service clients. We work with OHP, Moda, OHSU and private paying clients of diverse identities, strengths and needs. AKMAZO incorporates a variety of modalities, with a focus on Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Our approach to supporting clients is holistic, prioritizing the focus of the physical, spiritual, sexual, and psychological.

Requirements:

Fully licensed in Oregon; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC, or LMFT (please only apply as an intern/associate if you plan to be fully licensed in 2026; please only apply out of state if you already obtain an Oregon license in addition to a license in your home state)

Master’s in Social Work or similar

Ability to provide telehealth services

Has or able to obtain NPI and DMAP numbers

Full Completion of EMDR training (40+ hours) and ability to perform EMDR services (EMDRIA Certification not required)

Minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience working with adults. Clinical experience to include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and service delivery

Experience with individuals experiencing symptoms related to acute and chronic trauma

Expertise and passion for working with diverse and marginalized populations
